Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) within NYC metro area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle temperature-sensitive cargo with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-accident policy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven experience in NYC urban driving environments
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (will train if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and digital logs
