Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and multi-axle vehicles for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and perform minor roadside repairs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet tight deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/Regional experience
- HazMat endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and ELD systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight routes as needed
