Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Load and unload freight using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with limited traffic violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety standards.
