Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork according to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or B for some positions).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
