Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for cargo manifests
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status and delivery updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (HAZMAT certification preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Kentucky highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
