Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-class vehicles for time-sensitive deliveries across California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently through diverse California terrains and urban areas
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in California
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
