Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the Midwest
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and route planning
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Willingness to cross state lines and work flexible schedules
