Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for freight transport
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across California
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time logistics updates
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements when required
- Ensure timely delivery of high-value cargo
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and regulations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight routes
