Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Operate company vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses safely and on time.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for every stop.
- Load Handling: Secure cargo properly and assist with loading and unloading packages, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license (Class C) is required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy objects repeatedly.
