Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul freight delivery across the Midwest region
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Handle secure cargo documentation and verify shipment integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated trailers preferred
- Knowledge of regional routes and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
