Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and local deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems and real-time traffic updates
- Document delivery logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and highway systems
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
