Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) across Texas routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent SwiftSafe professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
- Knowledge of Houston metro area routes preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
