Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and deliver freight on time
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (minimum 2 years experience)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
- Must live within 30 miles of Raleigh, NC
