Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local and regional routes throughout Northern California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while prioritizing safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Represent our company with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highways and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
