Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within North Carolina
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS requirements
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Exceptional customer service orientation
