Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Document and report any vehicle irregularities or delivery issues
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Assist in freight handling when necessary to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- DOT physical certification required
