Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Navigate complex metropolitan routes efficiently
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Represent company professionally in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC metro area geography
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts
