Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state freight delivery
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo transportation with attention to detail
- Perform minor preventive maintenance checks
- Represent Premier Logistics with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat protocols (HME certification a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
