Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Texas routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing
- Handle hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Represent SwiftHaul with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight trips
- Basic navigation skills (GPS proficiency required)
- Strong communication and time management abilities
