Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Georgia and the Southeast
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery timelines while prioritizing road safety
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize GPS technology and digital dispatch systems for real-time navigation
- Document trip details, cargo manifests, and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Knowledge of Georgia traffic laws, hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
