Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and weather conditions while maintaining on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load security
- Uphold FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight stays
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling preferred
