Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and mileage records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with secure loading/unloading of specialized cargo
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb equipment
- Knowledge of hazmat procedures (certification a plus)
- Strong navigation and time management skills
