Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure freight documentation and bills of lading
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Chicago metro area and Midwest corridors
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work variable shifts
- Strong communication and time management skills
