Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes throughout Massachusetts and New England
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision while adhering to company safety protocols
- Deliver time-sensitive shipments to commercial and residential locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts traffic laws and New England geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexible availability for early morning/evening shifts and occasional weekends
