Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL required) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing routes and delivery schedules with minimal notice
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Sacramento region
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
