Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch for optimal routing and on-time delivery
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and route planning
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend deliveries
- Eligibility to work in the United States
