Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) on regional routes
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficient loading/unloading coordination at distribution centers
- Route optimization and timely delivery of freight
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of regional routes (TN/NC preferred)
- Basic navigation and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Flexible schedule including some overnight trips
