Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely on designated routes across Arizona and the Southwest
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with attention to detail
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and real-time updates
- Represent Phoenix Express Logistics with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and defensive driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for occasional loading/unloading duties
- Must pass comprehensive background check
