Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Manage delivery documentation and paperwork accurately
- Address minor mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
- Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular hours
