Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial trucks for regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect pre/post-trip vehicles and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain DOT-compliant driving logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
