Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) on local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Complete paperwork including delivery manifests and incident reports
- Represent the company professionally in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and PA/NJ routes
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility for early mornings and occasional weekend shifts
- Must be 21+ years old
