Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on dedicated routes across Indiana
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load/unload freight with minimal physical contact (no-touch freight)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Minimize delivery delays through efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overnight trips
