Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) within the Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections, documentation, and load securement procedures
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic math skills for load calculations and paperwork accuracy
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL through our sponsored training program
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasional overnight trips
- High school diploma or equivalent required
