Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Georgia and Southeast region
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs (e-tr compatible)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Represent company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (or recent CDL graduate)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
