Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van) for regional routes within Tennessee and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight documentation and customer interactions at delivery points
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Familiarity with Nashville metro area and regional highway systems
