Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for local and regional routes throughout California
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Deliver freight to diverse destinations while adhering to strict delivery schedules
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and traffic avoidance
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and California state laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve logistics challenges in real-time
- Document all delivery activities and report any incidents or delays promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the State of California
- Minimum 1 year of licensed driving experience (non-commercial acceptable)
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with truck safety protocols and cargo securement
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Valid California state ID and ability to pass background check
