Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Texas and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at client sites with precision
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
