Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb trailer steps
- Knowledge of Texas/Mexico border crossing protocols (if applicable)
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
