Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT compliance standards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Practice defensive driving and weather awareness techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement regulations
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with mountainous terrain
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
