Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Uphold safety standards and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and Southeastern routes
- Flexibility for early morning/night shifts
