Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch team
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with on-time performance focus
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio highway regulations and route planning
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (2-3 nights/week)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
