Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, DOT guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Plan and optimize routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate electronic logging system (ELD) and driver records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time updates and route adjustments
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas and regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
