Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) safely and in compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and properly distributed.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Electronic Logging Devices) and complete all necessary delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery instructions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift heavy cargo and endure long hours on the road.
