Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Complete timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Secure cargo and maintain proper loading/unloading procedures
- Represent Express Logistics with professionalism at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable hours
- Familiarity with Dallas metro area and Texas highways
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Strong work ethic and commitment to on-time deliveries
- Willingness to submit to background check
