Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/reefer) for local/regional routes within Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Efficiently load/unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Minimize transit times while maximizing fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
- Basic knowledge of freight handling procedures
