Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed) across California routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery status and issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable trucking experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
