Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and documentation for each trip
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when necessary to ensure secure transportation
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and mechanical problems promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Arizona transportation regulations and routes
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following company safety standards
