Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on local/regional routes
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after trips per DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs (ELD compliant)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Ensure proper freight handling and securement
- Communicate delivery status to clients and operations team
- Adhere to all safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with Dallas/Fort Worth metro area roadways
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible start times (4 AM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside inspections
