Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across NY metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb trailer steps
- DOT medical certification current
- Basic GPS and ELD proficiency
- Strong customer service orientation
