Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on multi-state routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision
- Document all transportation paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with ELDs
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
